Straddling the Schuylkill Highlands, the 7,730-acre park is the largest block of contiguous forest between Washington D.C. and New York City. The forests, lakes, wetlands and fields are a destination for the people of southeast Pennsylvania to hike, fish, camp and bike.

RecommendedLove it here - always clean and peaceful. Nice lake for kayaking and there is a pool! Though we've never used it, it does look lovely.

So much to do and see. excellent for night sky viewing, safe and beautiful!! Only bad thing we could say is the restrooms were gross!
French Creek is our go to campimg destination. Lots of hiking trails, montain biking, boating, fishing and swimming. We love it here!!
Super clean, well-kept Park with lots to do, including boating, fishing, exploring nature trails, and swimming in an Olympic-sized pool!

Great park for family camping trip. Site well maintained and restrooms were clean. Activities aplenty.
Great staff Had a blast with the family
We did a 4 mile loop of the Lenape, Mill, and Racoons trials. Definitely easy to maintain social distancing on these trails. Trails are very well marked.
