Once an industrial complex for the fledgling United States of America, today French Creek State Park is an oasis for people and wildlife. Straddling the Schuylkill Highlands, the 7,730-acre park is the largest block of contiguous forest between Washington D.C. and New York City. The forests, lakes, wetlands and fields are a destination for the people of southeast Pennsylvania to hike, fish, camp and bike.

Great place get cooled off
Loved kayaking there, the water was very calm. Loved the water lilies.
Overall, this is a nice park, however for hiking it is a little challenging... mainly because the trails are not marked well, overgrown in parts, rocky and lots of tree roots, (so be careful not to trip and fall!), and SUPER bug infested, (relentless bugs too, despite being covered head to toe in bug spray!).
Pool was beautiful right on the lake
Something for everyone to do here.
Always have a good time when I’m out here. I highly recommend yo any family that would like a day out with their family to come here
One of my favorite parks! Ben going there for many years.
