Once an industrial complex for the fledgling United States of America, today French Creek State Park is an oasis for people and wildlife. Straddling the Schuylkill Highlands, the 7,730-acre park is the largest block of contiguous forest between Washington D.C. and New York City. The forests, lakes, wetlands and fields are a destination for the people of southeast Pennsylvania to hike, fish, camp and bike.

very clean, the staff was very friendly. The price of the food seems a bit much for a pool though. the fries were very soggy and my chicken breast wasn't cooked through but over all we had a great time.
Scott’s Run is on the smaller side, but you really don’t have sailboat or (actual) motor boat wake to contend with. VERY kid friendly!
Quiet, scenic, efficiently run by a kind and friendly staff.
clean, educational, family oriented.
First time there. Very nice staff and clean facilities.
Perfect for families , the lake is beautiful! I took my daughter kayaking,we had a blast!
Nice dense forest with many trails and a couple of lakes. No lake swimming area, but there is a large size pool for a fee. I believe, Kyakes and canoes are available for rent.
Really clear water and peaceful
Good trails and for family outings
