RecommendedI had a nice trail hike here, and I liked following the well maintained trails. Area is good for short to long day hikes. Elevation changes and rocky terrain may be challenging for some beginner hikers. Park also has plenty of camping sites and a nice colonial historical site to visit called Hopewell Forge. There are also plenty of outdoor activities in this Park to do besides hiking.
Recommendedwe have spent a lot of time at French Creek over the years. Camping, swimming , hiking, fishing, and picnics. There is a lot to do at the park and within the surrounding area. Great place for families. Always an adventure and fun when we are there. Our girls grew up going to French Creek and now our grandkids enjoy going there.
