*********************** (**********, ** or **********, **) is the absolute worst mortgage company I have ever worked with. If I could give a rating of -10 that is still being too generous. I was sold to this bank and since day 1, they have been the worst. When ever I call for any issue on the phone for more than 1 hour, transferred at least 10times and each time the call is transferred, the connection is worse. The mortgage loan officer I contacted about a home mortgage was respectful, responsive and informative. However, the ************* online application system automatically triggers a hard credit inquiry which did not happen with another company when simply gathering information. When "shopping" for mortgage rates, I would have liked to have all of the numbers to work with from different lenders before authorizing the credit check. Started to get a home refinance on August 28th, 2020. It is now December 7th and they are still asking for documents they we sent multiple times. They don't return phone calls or emails. When I did talk to someone they said they are over whelmed and don't have enough people to do the work. We stopped the refinance today. Not a company anybody should do business with.

This banks customer service policies are terrible. My car loan was paid off and I received my title in the mail, so the account was closed. A few days later they took a payment out of my checking account. Instead of just returning it electronically they are mailing me a check. So now my account is in the negative and I have to deal with the mess they’ve caused. I still haven’t received the check and the money was taken out on Friday, it is now Wednesday. I opened a account with ************* on *************** in ********** ************* on 10-21-20 I had my *************** direct deposited to this new account I received a letter from ************* on 10-30-20 saying that they regret to inform me that my accounts have been closed and have concluded that they can no longer maintain their banking relationships with me I had made no transactions at all the whole time the accounts were open I went back to the bank to inquire about the letter and what the problem was the bank man... read more

I never signed up for this terrible company. My mortgage was “acquired” by ************. They first gouged me for a late payment fee related to their inability to transfer long-standing automatic payments. They then sent me a threatening letter about my valid, up-to-date, auto-renewing home insurance, Their systems are truly awful. Phone support takes at least an hour to answer. DO NOT RECCOMMEND- NO RECOURSE TO RECOUPE ANOTHER BANKS ERROR AND OUT $300.00 Citizens allowed 3rd party to cash pre-billed checks mailed out by Citizens to ************* to be cashed by a 3rd party. Citizens states I can't get my $300. back until they hear from other bank that cashed the 2 pre-stamped ************* checks TOTALING $300.00 1) I'm out $300.00 until the other bank replies to Citizens. 2) This started back at the beginning of June to get fixed. Citizens One / Citizens Bank is a highly fraudulent and horrible company to do business with. They have had 3 of my Auto Loans due to dealership preferences over the years. In August 2019 I had a total loss experience. Citizens failed to provide the Gap insurance company information in a timely fashion. By the 3rd attempt and threaten to close the Gap claim; they finally complied. Opened fraudulent account in my name. They can not even count to 1 to deal with it. Invest in the ******* loss that is lottery tickets, its a better investment. 0 stars.
