Not worth the money Living close to rt 40/72 you will constantly hear cars and trucks. Forget about a nice night sleeping with the windows open. The neighbors are rude and blare music and bass after dark and it's so loud my baby monitor is flashing yellow and red! I've put in maintenance requests and it took over 8 months to get it fixed. When they did finally come to fix it, the hired maintenance walked in on me after a shower! The dumpsters seem to always be full. $1000 for a 2 bedroom is NOT worth it here.
Fox run apartments This is my seventh year living hear and is GREAT. Great people, best maintenance crew that is available 27/7. A cool and relaxing swimming pool where my son and his friends go every summer, plus a fun tennis court where me and my husband play sometimes even at night because its nicely lighted. Convenient to Public Transportation Right on the bus line! Across the street is a grocery store, drugstores and restaurants. Sidewalks to and from shopping center are wheelchair accessible making a first floor apartment perfect! The apartments themselves are being updated but still need a lot of work as there are often electrical and plumbing issues from years of neglect. What a waste... We have lived in Fox Run apartments for over 2 years and are currently looking to move as soon as possible (lease permitting). We rent a 2 bedroom apartment on the third floor that offers a beautiful vaulted ceiling, fireplace, and quaint balcony. I titled my review as "what a waste" due to our latest treatment by staff and maintenance here at Fox Run. Since the weather broke in March/April of this year, we have had it rain in our big, beautiful, newly renovated bedroom window. This issue apparently requires ... read more
Fox Run Apartments Bear, DE Very friendly and family oriented community. The apartments are very spacious however, all of the finishes and utility appliances are dated. I had multiple issues with the heating and cooling system. The complex utilizes propane for the heating systems, which is very pricy. During the winter months beware of the water pipes freezing. There are no assigned parking spaces, so more often then not you will not have a spot near your apartment.
LOVE FOXRUN APARTMENTS!! My wife and I have lived here 22 years! We have a 2 bedroom, two full baths downstairs apartment. With stove (gas), full size microwave, fridge and full size washer and dryer. There's plenty of cabinet space and even room in the kitchen for us to put in a full size chest freezer. Every apt has it's own private entrance and you can reserve your own parking space right in front of your apt. Pets are welcome! We have a pool, exercise room, tennis courts and play area. Quiet and Convenient This a pretty quiet complex and even though the apartments around us all have small children, we hardly ever hear anything. Having a washer and dryer in unit is great. We love the playground and the pool. We're just minutes away from a great park and shopping, the location really can't be beat. The office staff is pleasant. Comfortable and Convenient I have been living at Fox Run Apartments since 2013. The rate and location were the most appealing. The neighbors are very nice and the area is extremely quiet. The rate is very reasonable. In addition, the leasing office and resident services office have the nicest and most understanding employees. No matter when I call, someone returns my call or resolves my issues! I love living here. I hope to remain a resident for years to come! C. Roane
