Pretty expensive and it's always crowded. I was expecting a great food, but the chicken and waffles was pretty salted and not so amazing. I can't understand why it's considered so great in D.C.
Scramble breakfast was delicious, and the French toast is amazing. I enjoyed everything about this place.

I love it there! We never make reservations and it's always more than a hour wait... so, we hang out at the bar until someone leaves.. we've had pretty good luck! I think founding farmers is above and beyond most restaurants... we really love the food there!
Well if I was pushed, I would say I've just eaten the best American breakfast I've ever had. Steak, eggs, applewood bacon, hash browns with leeks topped off with pancakes & maple syrup. Rest of the family says the filled French Toast was the best. Now to walk it off, lets see what we can find down Pennsylvania Ave?????
The wait staff is amazing and the food was worth the wait to be seated. (They were very busy!) This restaurant is a definite place to visit in DC :)
Loved the food!! The only problem was the wait was n & the service was not good either! Had to remind the waiter about my iced tea 4 times before he brought it.

The food was AMAZING! Atmosphere was great and the service was EXCELLENT. Will definitely be returning when I return to the DMV area.
