First, be there at least 10 minutes before it opens AND have a reservation. It's crazy busy and you will definitely have a wait based on how busy it was when we left. Anyway, the food was delicious and our service was EXCELLENT! Highly recommend if you are in DC for a visit.
The wait staff here is great and the food is tasty, but the menu is super over-priced (there are a lot of upcharges, some clearly identified and others sneakily attached to the bill), and the hostess staff come off as unhelpful and disinterested in their job. We waited around thirty minutes to have a rude hostess sit us at the community table - which had been empty the entire time we waited - after we walked by a half-empty room.

It was awesome! It was very crowded so I had to sit at the bar but the food (shrimps) was very good and oh the cornbread! I'm from TN so I know good southern food! The drinks, food and environment was great'
Everything was great from start to finish! We were early for our reservation but they took us in. Our waiter Liam was very attentive and good. My husband had the ribeye with mashed potatoes and the mac n cheese. I had the Ham, peas, apples mac n cheese. Food was so good...no frills cooking, just down to earth home cooking with fresh ingredients. We also had dessert but had to bring it back to our hotel because we were so full.
