We went for breakfast last week and had the vanilla cream stuffed French toast with strawberries 🍓 which was absolutely delicious. My husband had the chicken with waffles which he said was equally delicious. We liked it so much we came back for dinner last night. We had the short ribs, dry aged streak, avocado bacon burger, and chicken bucatini pasta dish. We had the most amazing and allergy friendly meal here! They really "get" food allergies. Manager came over to talk to us about where there could be cross contact in the kitchen area, and suggested a safe starter. Each of the four of us enjoyed a delicious meal served with compassion and smiles. The homemade sodas are outstanding, too!! Wish more restaurants handled food allergic patrons like they do �
Absolutely incredible place!! Amazing Staff, Amazing Food, and even MORE AMAZING drinks. These guys come up with everything and if you can't decide tell the what you like, they will hand craft you a drink. I'm a flight attendant and found it randomly on a layover a few years ago, I always make it a point to go back when I visit DC! :D
I recommend making a reservation. We made a reservation for 5pm on a Saturday - not the most popular dinner time - and it was crowded. We were seated right away, of course, but I am so glad we did make a reservation. They have an extensive drink menu! Long wait but good food. Grits were great. Can do separate checks for a big group so that's good.
