Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We were visiting from out of town and Founding Farmers was highly recommended. They had the AC blasting (perfect for the warm spring/summer day that it was). The coffee was great, and our food was fantastic. I’m a chicken & waffles fanatic, and I thought theirs was great! I’d put this down as a place we’d need to go back to next time we visit DC.

Food was delicious service was a tad slow but honestly the place seems like it is always slammed so it’s to be expected. Our waiter was friendly and nothing was screwed up. Food was phenomenal, I had the Chicken and Waffles lunch and omg 😮. Best Mac and cheese, best chicken, the waffle was a lovely buttery piece of God and the green beans were green beans that tasted really good. Can’t wait to go again. High quality food and service. Ordered cornbread for appetizer. Had too much kernel corn it for my taste but I’m sure most love it. Ordered homemade orange soda. Didn’t like it but appreciated the efforts to be different and unique. Main course was awesome(lobster Mac and cheese). Huge clumps if lobster. Wife got butternut squash ravioli and loved it. Very high quality food. Would love to go again and try some other stuff.
