The food was soooo good and the proportions where big. Everyone needs to try this place at least once in their lifetime. So worth it!!!!
Really good service, great farm fresh foods all hand prepared in the kitchen, nothing frozen or prepackaged. You may consider making reservations , not because it's " fancy" , but because everyone loves this place.
The food was delicious and creative. Had the kettle corn as an appetizer (and for dessert a little later in the evening). I had the chicken salad and my mom had the chicken pot pie. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was trendy and relaxed. Will definitely go again the next time we visit DC!

Great place and menu. But better have a reservation because host is snob about it.
I was dog tired and all "restaurant" out from friends being in town but could not pass up the invitation for 1 of Washington's most hyped spots and it was 15 min away. While sitting at the bar drinking their amazing basil soda (I'm stealing this)I was a patrons chicken & waffles and ordered that .....with the Mac & Cheese and mashed potatoes, I hate Mac & cheese but this was gone in 10 seconds, the chicken thigh literally melted and the potatoes were perfect. I'm from Thailand. Here is a must place for food. Atmosphere is great, food is excellent, service is flawless. I would recommend my friends.
