Our home is almost 100 years old and recently we noticed that the foundation was beginning to fail. After a visit from Jordan of OBA it was determined that one basement block wall needed to be removed and replaced while another needed to be excavated and waterproofed. Jerry, Dustin, and Jordan are some of the hardest workers out there. Not only are they skilled, being able to lift a foundation and stabilize it, but they took into account any and all concerns our family had. They kept the homeowners in the loop when any major change would occur, showed the home alignment at each change and stage, and were upfront and honest about any problems that could arise. Overall, OBA is pretty great! Jacob T was our inspector and was so sweet and took the time to educate me on the process. He went above and beyond to help me locate a leak coming from my refrigerator water line into the basement. The work we had done on our basement was executed to perfection. Kyle R, Ryan K, and Michael C were incredibly professional. I would highly recommend Tar Heel Basement Systems for any basement waterproofing work. I have not met a more professional group of contractors than Tar Heel. Their sales executive Tim Martin was a pleasure to deal with upfront , honest and customer oriented. I had been having issues with my sump pump discharging into my backyard which created a swampy environment. Ohio Basement Authority was the only company I kind find to fix the problem. They ran pipe underground about 150 feet away to a storm sewer. Now I never have to worry about standing water in my yard again! Larry H. and Allan G. were the technicians that completed the work and they did an amazing job! I asked them to preserve the grass above the pipe and they did a great job at it! We had a service call today to check up on the work Ohio Basement Authority did installing a sump pump and a perimeter waterproofing system. Mitchell Spurlock did an excellent job of telling me what he was going to do and that if we signed a 3 or 5 year service contract we could save money. He also recommended 2 other services he thought we could benefit from and why they were important and would add to the resale value of the house. I had my concrete slap leveled and sidewalk leveled. Tommy and Jeremy were FANTASTIC!!!!! They were professional and personable!! They did the job to 120% and when they were finished, you did not even know they were there! Everything was as clean as it was when they got here. I highly recommend them and the company. From the beginning to the end of the process it was professional and complete. I am VERY satisfied with the job!!
