RecommendedThe research that FFB funds gives us hope that more cures will be found for those of us with inherited retinal diseases. Additionally, I have found a community of people who understand what I go through as I slowly lose my vision. There's comfort in that.
This program is absolutely amazing. The fundraising they do for research and trials for the blind is outstanding. My oldest child/son (now 16) suffers from Retinitis Pigmentosa, Leber's Congenital Amorosis, Charles Bennett Syndrome, and a CLN13 Gene Mutation. We enjoy participating in their walks for blindness along with regularly donating to their cause. Not only do they gather funds for research and clinical trials, but they provide an amazing support staff and advocates. We are forever thankful to this foundation.
