DO NOT use this guy, no matter how desperate you are!! He was HORRIBLE... there are numerous reasons why people hate going to the dentist, and now I'm among that group of people. The experience was not only painful and traumatizing, but he had no personal communication skills at all. Don't Go!!!!!! This dentist is only interested in money..He could care less about you as a patient or as a person. There are two reviews written... the first one is written by him. Look at the name. He does not change his barriers like he is suppose to and I have seen him throw bloody tissue and gauze in the garbage. Be careful! Dentist is not very ethical! This dentist is horrible. During the initial visit, he would ask that you pay extra to do one of his exam which he says is not covered by insurance. He would make it seem as though this is a standard practice. When I told him that I've never had to pay for an inital exam since it should be covered by my insurance, he stammered and said that it is a more "thorough" exam. BEST DENTIST EVER! I DID NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH DR.TANNER. HE WAS VERY NICE AND CARING. TOOK HIS TIME AND DID NOT RUSH LIKE OTHER DENTIST'S I WENT TO. VERY HONEST AND DOES NOT SUGAR COAT THINGS.
Wonderful Dentist I came to this Dentist in pure hopes that he would give me the proper care that I needed for my dental problems. I've been given the run around from other doctors in the area and was skeptical. Not only did he give me the best care at the best price, he made me feel comfortable and at ease, trust me the dental office is not my favorite place to go but I must say I will definitely return and remain his patient.
NOT VERY ETHICAL IN MY OPINION.....$$$$$$$ HUNGRY....Stay far away! This dentist is just out to make a quick buck anyway he can. I would not visit him EVER again and I would HIGHLY recommend others to stay away unless you just enjoy throwing away your hard earned money. Dr. Tanner will get you to pay for what he calls "his special extensive exam - x-rays", but doesn't tell you until after it is done that it is not covered under your dental coverage and he is charging you upwards of $80 or more for this service. Fan for Tan-R I would travel long distances just to see Dr. Tanner; in fact, I am traveling from the east coast to see him this summer (if I can get an appointment) for some dental care. He's awesome!!! Always had a nice "bedside" manner and explains not just the procedures but also what is covered under my dental plan and what is not. I read the negative statements and would like to tell all that maybe these individuals did not "voice" what their needs were. This dentist is Great! This dentist offered the most complete dental exam I have ever had. He checked everything and took the time to listen to me before he did anything. He listed to all my concerns and tailored the treatment to what I said. He took very detailed notes and explained everything to me in terms I could understand. He also told me what everything was going to cost before he started anything. PROS: Very complete examination CONS: Unique personality: kind of animated.
Clelen C Tanner This is Dr. Tanner, DDS. The reviews are not fair. I do not know who wrote them so I can not specifically address their concerns. Itâs unfortunate, but people will say terrible things when no one knows who they are. The person has two complaints. One is pain, and the other is their dental planâs payment.
