First visit to Folsom Lake Toyota after moving west from the East Coast. Kyle was our service manager and he was excellent. Very informative and detailed and took a lot of time with us which we appreciated. As far as the technical competency, our most challenging problem involved a frozen control arm which was making an alignment difficult. The alignment was done to some extent but it remains to be seen whether this was done sufficiently or not. Time will tell.
I scheduled an appointment for a recall notice on my 2013 prius. Got there at 7:30 am. on 2/19. Spent 1 hour in the waiting room. They then informed me that they did not have the necessary parts needed for the recall fix and that I would have to bring the prius back in. Not good. Were supposed to contact me when they had the parts for the recall fix. As I write this review it is 2/27 and I have not heard back from them.
Great service! I always work with Gibriel and he always gets me in and out quickly with a great summary of what’s right or wrong and an appropriate solution at the right time.
So I had purchased a beautiful 1998 4runner and had it checked out by a Toyota dealership in LA before I flew out to purchase it. They said everything looked good on the car except for clutch fluid and brake fluid needed to be flushed. So that gave me the green light the purchase the car. I recently leased my 2018 Camry from Folsom Lake Toyota and my experience was exceptional. It started with my sales person (Klaus). He was very professional and demonstrated a hassle free environment. He took the time to follow up on everything he said he would. The finance guys were awesome too. They offered a payment within my budget without all the back and forth chatter of trying to over price me. Most importantly, they got me in and out very quickly. I had a very good experience with Folsom lake Toyota. We had got there I had a very good sales guy come up to us his name is Mackenzie Rennan. He did not push us, bother us, he was great, answered all my questions made me feel very comfortable. Because of this I am very pleased with everything. I will be back and would highly recommend him.
