Had a great time at the Foggy Mountain Gem Mine this was my first time visiting and can't wait to go back. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the gems.

The staff at this place was awesome. We (Tammy and the grandkids) went first on a Tuesday morning and it got busy quick quick. It didn't matter, the staff was very knowledgable and checked on us frequently to see if we needed anything. We had such a great time we went back Wednesday morning and purchased the Mother Load to share between the 4 of us. My girls had an absolute blast this morning. The guys were super nice, knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely be coming back next time we're in town!
The kids had a great time! A fun and educational visit.
My best friend and I had a great time. It was cold, cold, cold but Chris and Daniel were great. Chris talked us through the gems and Daniel separated and told us about the gems again. He then told us about the cuts and did NOT pressure us into buying anything. We did get one our gems cut into two stone. They were super friendly and professional. We plan on making this a part of our trip every year to Blowing Rock. Great time.
Worth your money and a lot of fun, especially for kids. Staff was great.
