SOOOO much more pretentious than they deserve to be – OMG, I hate this place. I went here three years ago and hated it then, but I guess i forgot and got desperate and went again. Everyone there is totally snotty, especially the girl at the front desk. Do NOT Believe the prices on the website -- once they are done with your cut/style/color/whatever, oops, it's $30 more because you have long hair/dry scalp/whatever. Awesome Cut and Color- why would you go anywhere else? ? – Dear other consumers: Just have to tell you how much I loved this place. Just moved here. . . didnt know anyone or where to get my hair cut- ahhh! Well long story short- kinda- found Floyd's Barbershop (Yes! they do women) and I am in Love!!! Good Salon. – This place is pretty rad. I got my hair colored, and it turned out well. I didn't get a cut, so I can't comment on that sector of their business. However, the front desk receptionist, had a bad attitude and was incredibly unhelpful.
WORST HAIRCUT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – oh my goodness, i have to say i've had some bad haircuts in my time, but none have ever made me cry. i have NO idea what he was thinking when he cut my hair. i brought a picture to show along the lines of what i wanted, simple shaggy cut...let me tell you it was a straight cut along the bottom, and a second layer on top, staight across. it was awful!!!! i quickly drove to the store picked up bobby pins(i could no longer put my hair in a ponytail) i didn't wear my hair down for two months... read more
Worst Men's Haircut I've Ever Received!!! – I'm an Asian guy with short/medium length hair and I just received the worst haircut of my entire life! The female "stylist" that cut my hair looked like she didn't care about me or her job. I gave her specific guidelines on how I wanted my hair cut; I even showed her pictures. AWESOME!!!! – I went to Floyds for the first time this weekend and had a stylist named Candice - AMAZING job on my cut and color! I've been to so many stylists , cheap and expensive and with her I felt like I've found my perfect match as far as who will touch my hair from here on out! Floyd's Barbershop is the best, hands down – So I am a guy who just moved here from Illinois, and I am very specific when it comes to my hair. I walked into Great Clips and Supercuts and they were filled with older women stylists who could barely speak English. This did not make me comfortable and niether did the haircut that I saw a guy getting while I was there. OUCH! So, I chose to walk away from those places and my friend told me about Floyd's. Fantastic Hair cut and colour – I got an amazing cut and colour from Michelle that I absolutely love! I decided to go short and platinum blonde and Michelle did not let me down. The colour looks great and I really love the cut. It was very inexpensive too. I would recommend Floyd's to anyone. I loved the atmosphere, the music, and the fact that it was extremely affordable.
