the crews did a good job of getting our power back on after Irma (9 days) but we still have part of the broken off power pole in our yard. They finally got the transformer this week and it doesn't look like too much oil leaked from it. But been calling for several weeks and still have pole in yard, broken part still in the air with a wire in our tree.

I was told I would get a my residential meter installed on December 18 and still have no meter and no power! MANY CALLS TO CORPORATE AND NOT RESOLVED. HOWEVER, I did make a formal complaint to Florida Public Service Commission. Has anyone else had issues with this company?

You suck my electricity is constantly shutting off. But there is no problem sending our monthly bill. Hurricane or not. Our area was the first to lose electricity an then. We spent A week we were dying. Off course you guys mhave a monopoly here in Florida. I think a little competition would do you some good.

Florida Power & Light FP&L likes solar ONLY to the point they can buy the KW... BUT when the 'grid' is down Solar Owners R NOT allowed to use their panels to provide power to their homes... Thanks to FP&L's LAW... I LIKE TVA and Tennessee's approach + 22 cents a kW for 20 years!!!! AND we can DISCONNECT if the grid is down!!!

I just got power back and I don't care how long it took. FPL and the contractors hired to clear debris for them are all awesome. I was as upset as anybody while I was feeling inconvenienced, but this is a monumental task. Power is available but downed lines must be restored. That's why your neighbor might have power but you don't. The worst is over now. If you still don't have power hang in there and remember they have to go from 1,000,000 to 0. That's a task Florida has never faced. Thanks to everyone involved in restoring ... read more
