Thank you so much to the staff at Florida Eye Specialists and especially to Dr. Kostick! After being diagnosed with a rare eye cancer I ended up having five eye surgeries here in Tampa area. The last four had complications each time and my eye looked worse after every surgery. My optometrist finally recommended Dr. Kostick to me and I am so grateful that he did. He did an amazing job on my eye and I am finally on my way to healing & happy with the results. I would recommend him to anyone!

I had intacs put in both eyes by Dr Patel and both were a success. However I have been trying for over 4 months now to get contacts for the San Marco office with no luck. I was told insurance would not pay and when I ask if the insurance company was contacted I was told no they didn't need to contact them they knew insurance wouldn't pay. I contacted the insurance company myself and was told to have the doctor send a letter of medical necessity. I feel confident with Dr. Shetty but his office staff could do a better job of letting people know they are running behind. I arrived at 9:55am for my appointment waited 50 min to be called back. Then over another hour before I was seen. By the time I made my next appointment I had been there 2hrs 35 min. The last time was 2 hours as well. No one apologizes or even says when you arrive they are running behind. Dr. Chokshi and the entire staff are a wonderful group of professionals. Dr. Chokshi's expertise was very critical and helpful in clearing an issue with my vision that I had been dealing with for many years.
Be prepared to make a day of it. My Daughters Appointment was at 9:45am. Now 12:10pm and we are still here.
