Great doctor, great office, convenient location. I can only comment on Dr. Ravi Patel since he is the one that operated on me. Very personable, very knowledgeable and he never made me feel rushed or unimportant. Sorry folks, if you never had to wait for your physician, doesn't that tell you something? Every physician runs into an anxious patient who is full of questions or has a more complicated problem than you. That puts the doctor behind schedule. The doctors get 5 stars. They are great. Their back staff not so much. You wait 2-3 hours even when you have one of the first visits of the day! They don't take patient according to appointment time - and have a very flippant attitude about it!! It's not hard to look at the appointment time and take patients back accordingly but they seem better at chit-chatting between themselves in hallway than paying attention to that little detail. Dr. Maida replaced my cornea several years. I paid $3000 at the time. He advertised on radio that it would work or my money back. After the transplant healed, he shaped it with Lasik. When that didn't work, he said there was nothing he could. I was left legally blind in that eye, and I still am. So much for "money back". Dr Maida is either grossly incompetent or a crook. Maybe both.

It was February 2, 1998 that Dr. Jerry Maida performed my Lasik surgery. OMG, I can hardly believe that was, what -- 19 years ago? Before I had that eye surgery, I had been very nearsighted for my entire life. First I wore those really thick lensed glasses for seeing and then progressed to hard contacts and then semi-permeable. i have been useing them for abou five yeaes now. ihave had catarack and retina surgery on both my eyes. i have seen dr. Shetty, dr. Costic and Dr. Kasha. they are all great Doctors
