A former US Navy debarkation point built in 1942, Fleet Landing lay vacant after World War II. Located on the eastern waterfront side of the Historic District, the 6000 square-foot (557 square-meter) concrete building was purchased by Tradd Newton in 2004. My husband and I visited Charleston last week and out of all of the places we ate, Fleet Landing was our absolute favorite! We went back a 2nd time because we loved it so much. The servers were too notch and knew the menu backwards and forwards. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were just as good! My husband ordered a Mint Julep and loved it! The bartenders were incredibly friendly and fun! When we come back to visit, Fleet Landing is our first stop!
