We bought the best heat pump unit from Service Experts 11 years ago and today they say it is nearly worn out and needs replaced. We paid for yearly service contracts on the unit and in the last seven visits they have found costly repairs 5 of those times. I am now changing away from them and shopping another HVAC company that is privately, locally own. I am furious at Service Experts Heating and Air for these on-going costly repairs.

Just don't use them, will charge you for something you no longer even have possession of!! The new people who purchased our house are choosing not to sign the transfer paperwork to assume the hot water tank rental so Bryant has decided that I should keep paying for the new owners of the home to have hot water. 3 months now I have been charged and don't even live in the province anymore. Stevenson Heating and Air is a scam, I just purchased a home which is a cost in itself. Trying to watch my spending with updates and had a Technician come out from Stevenson, Dale (only honest guy at Stevenson). He replaced my thermostat and said my furnace just needed a cleaning. I then scheduled another appointment and requested Dale, instead I got a scam artist, Mike O. When I was distracted he took a well running furnace and ruined it! Technicians were friendly and worked quickly to get the job done. Took the time to explain the functionality of the new water heater. They did a great job.

An update to my review filed on 12/19/2021: A general manager from Aramendia reached out to me after the holidays to investigate the situation. He confirmed that the quote I was given was an error and stated that the manager who signed off on it had been "let go." Although I paid a different company to repair my HVAC system, Aramendia still refunded me the difference of what I paid and what it would have cost for them to fix the issue at cost; this was a completely out of pocket refund on their part. We needed a new air conditioner for our HVAC. We have a gas furnace for heat. ******* sold us a hybrid heat pump that switches to the gas furnace at the point the temperature fell too low to be efficient as a heat pump. The biggest selling point, emphasized over and over at least ten times during the sells pitch, was that the really great feature was the Emergency Heat setting to supply some heat if the gas was ever out. Our gas did go out and there was no Emergency Heat!!! Another selling point, but not emphasized as much ... read more

I would give Service Experts Company a negative 10 review if it was possible. My mother's current air conditioner is 5 1/2 years old. Still under warranty until 2026. Service Experts owns the extended warranty. My mother is 83 year old and hard of hearing. My mother believed what she was signing was a temporary thing to fix her existing Air-Conditioners' issue. Incompetent, shady, or both. These guys showed up with both a technician and a sales guy. Technician took a look at my faulty furnace for a few minutes, told me a part that needed to be replaced, but said there was no guarantee the new/replacement part would be compatible(?). Suggested I get a whole new system furnace + A/C. Sales guy tried the high pressure sales approach to get me on their 'advantage' plan, which is a lease where you will pay monthly and end up paying twice the cost of the new system over the course of 10 ... read more

Crystal arrived for my annual heating inspection on time and completely following the CDC guidelines for COVID. She explained everything to me and instructed me on the proper way to flush out the system and how often I should change the filters etc. I really appreciated the time she spent addressing my concerns and answering my questions.
