I walked into this facility with an ear ache. Asked about the cost of service / treatment. I was told they were competitive. Registered, waited, into exam space, took vitals/evaluation, doctor examined ears with a scope and wrote a prescription for an antibiotic. Presented insurance card and was told AETNA was not in network. Paid a $300.00 copay. Later learned that AETNA is in fact in their network. I am so disappointed with the nursing care my mother received in the ER by Maurice, RN. He ruined what would have been a completely different review. My mother cut her finger so badly with an electric hedger that it fractured bone. She was in pain crying and had high blood pressure. Maurice refused to call the dr for pain medication (not even a Tylenol) because he stated it was "not life threatening". Nothing bad to say about this hospital at all. Yesterday was my second time going & it was just as pleasant as the first time. The staff are friendly. I'm out in leas than 2 hours. Overall 5 stars!!!!
Soooo far so good took my son there last night with a sprained ankle! The staff was very nice. We went in emergency and had no wait time. The nurse and doctor were friendly and explained how to treat ankle...
My husband was transported here for an allergic reaction that was very serious. We were told this was a hospital so I figured our insurance would cover the visit with our ER copay and a slight bill. Little did I know they are out of network with Blue Cross so now we are stuck with a huge hospital bill. The doctor was in network but the hospital is not. Doesnt makw sense. My very first time here ,Amazing nurses and doctors they are treating my mother as a princess, very clean and beautiful hospital. ER Waiting time was 2 minutes.
You mean, First FLORIDA HOSPITAL? Staff seemed great when they told me I had such a minor problem that I didn't even have to finish the paperwork, and to have a good day. Then came the day I got a $700+ bill. To add insult to injury a story was fabricated about a car accident. That came from outer space. As much as I hate lawyers, I'd pay one $800 to quash First Florida's $700 bill!!!!
