Don't go there! Outrageous charges. They didn't get enough money from myself and my insurance the first time. so now they came back to me almost a year later demanding another $1700.
DO NOT RECOMMEND! I went there for the first time in June 19th. I was feeling fever, pain and my sore hurts. They checked me, did X-ray, checked my throat and did the Step troath test but the couldn't rub my throat well because I have bad gag reflux, so I suggested to test from my spit, they said it wasn't necessary. Didn’t even make there. Son was bit by dog and I called them to see if they could possibly give him a shot Incase the dog had rabies. I was put on hold and was told the only place equipped to treat him IN AUSTIN was Brackinridge hospital. I took him to St David’s ER in StoneHill and he received a shot and antibiotics. So where do you think I’m going to tell friends and colleagues to go from now on..... not My first choice!

I have twins and their primary was booked completely today along with other clinics bc of the flu epidemic so we chose to go to this free standing er instead of Dell Children’s and we had the best patient care! Their staff are all amazing! They were so sweet to my twins! The front desk lady was such a doll! She went out of her way to give them coloring books, stickers, and a little prize bag! Dr Scaff was highly unprofessional. I've never been treated by him before and before he even saw my face I heard him in the hallway outside my room : "She ALWAYS wants pain medicine. ..... She see's pain management...... You'll see." and more . I've had cancer, I have lupus, had a total hysterectomy just a couple months ago with adhesion removal and had endo and fibroids. I've had a colectomy. My health is no joke. I did not at this trip to the ER or any ot the other few times I've been there in years past EVER ask for pain ... read more
Very impressed w/First Choice Emergency Room! Just took in my daughter, and we were out within an hour! The entire staff was friendly, professional and caring! The facility is state of the art! Hopefully there won't be a reason to go back but if so, I feel we are in great hands!!!
Amazingly fast and friendly service. I went in with a 9/10 on the pain scale and left with a 0. They gave me 100% attention, care, and satisfaction. They even gave me a follow up call and a lovely get well card. No one wants to go to an emergency room, but if and when you do, definitely choose this location.
