The facility and staff were great, but the billing is insane....even by medical billing ER standards. We were there for an infected leg since it was after-hours and we were unable to get an appointment at our regular doctor for at least 48 hours. I knew it would probably be a few hundred to go here, but since they boldly claim to take all insurance, I didn't think it would be more than that. Well, looks like for a prescription for antibiotics our charge is $1,225.00 and that is after paying another couple hundred as a co-pay... read more

Best choice in ER's I have made! My son has been to ER before and when he's gone, he has completely freaked out due to the doctor or staff being so unfriendly and inpatient. But from the moment we walked in to FC, he was completely comfortable! Thank you to the on duty doctor and staff that helped us tonight 12/17/16 around 3:40 am. You guys are amazing!
I went to First Choice ER on 11/21/16 and everyone was great. I was in and out in a matter of 30 min. However, today I found out my insurance did not pay a dime because First Choice ER failed to tell me they were out of network with my insurance... Upon checking in I asked the receptionist if they were in network and she said yes! (Which was obviously a lie) So now I have a balance of $4,973.00 I will never go there again and I will never refer anyone to their physicality. I am just shocked! This ER is fantastic. When we went there was nobody else there so we got in quick. Our daughter was seen, treated, and then we were on our way back home in no time. I would definitely recommend this ER when you can't get in to see your regular doctor.
