We started with the ‘well known large Kent estate agent’ who were absolutely dire and let us down badly, whereas Firefly gave sensible advice, were always responsive and always answered the phone. A smaller independent agent like Firefly gives you the same Rightmove coverage as those giant agents but with more reasonable fees and staff that actually care about their customers. We would whole-heartedly recommend Firefly.
We were to see a house at 12 today. We travelled 1 hour to see it with 2 children. When we arrived it was on a lane with no parking, this was not communicated to us and we had to dodge traffic to get to the property. Eventually managing to get there we waited 20 minutes and nobody turned up to show us around. They seemed surprised we were there despite texting us to confirm on the morning.
