Fingals is a lovely place to rent a holiday apartment. The small estate is nestled in the Devon hills just a mile from Dittisham and the Dart Estuary. They have a gym and small swimming pool and the local walks are amazing. Many of the pubs are dog friendly too!
Had a wonderful stay in the Folly for our trip to Dartmouth. Thoroughly enjoyed the facilities available- particularly the swimming pool and table tennis! Despite the tricky, narrow tracks which are to be expected in rural areas, the Fingals was a great base location for us to drive to and from the beach, Dartmouth town and to try our hand at kayaking and boating in Totnes. Possibly the most magical place on earth. If you love quirky cottage core, with vintage and faded grandeur flavours, alongside Bloomsbury arts & crafts, then this is DEFINITELY your place. Add gorgeous walks along streams, a welcoming community and fabulous nearby pubs and restaurants with short drives to Dartmouth and Totnes and the uK’s best beaches, then you’re looking at the dream British holiday. Wow, we spent five nights in the lower mill, what a wonderful break, we needed so badly, Fingals is a rare find, both Sheila and Richard such lovely hosts, a gem of a holiday, luxury, swimming pool, sauna,gym, very reasonably priced, and an unusual, beautiful cluster of various buildings to choose from, to stay in, left to our own devices, peaceful, I can’t praise the place enough, but need at least two weeks , hope to return. A superb, wonderful place, magical.
