Kevan and Joy made us feel very welcome and they were very much accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. I consider that they go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. The location is idyllic and very peaceful. The lodges are spacious and have everything you need from an internal stove for heating and cooking and full kitchen supplies pans, cups, knives and glasses etc. Functioning and comfortable shower and bathroom, separate bedrooms and a dining table that sits six plus a sofa and two deckchairs. Stayed here with our children in April this year. We didn’t know what to expect and were slightly regretting our booking when it was bucketing it down enroute. However, when we got there, the host met us from our car and straight away immersed our kids in to farm life, including letting the kids drive his jeep to our safari tent, via a dented fence post (sorry) and some muddy pits. We stayed there last year. Not clean at all. Not sure if they expect people leaving to have cleaned up or not but it was really grim in the kitchen especially as you are cooking in there. The equipment wasn't great that was provided in the kitchen either. Happy to bring your own things if you know in advance. There was a number of us waiting to use the pizza oven on the campsite. Not very clear that everyone has to use the same one. There was mosquito larve in the hot tub and it just wasn't being cleaned enough. It is a love... read more
