Great place to pass great time. Great service and friendly management.
This place is amazing! We loved the oceanfront view and they have bikes, grills, canoes, kayaks, a herb garden, and wifi you can use all for free. Their little cottages are so cute! This is literally the best vacation I've ever been on. There is so much to do and the stress just melts away as soon as you step foot on this island.
The best people running this place. We're having a blast here. Definitely recommend this place. The golf carts are fun too!
Our family has spent the last 20+ years for long Thanksgiving weekends at The Faraway Inn. We love the "Old Florida" charm and atmosphere. If you're looking for a place to just relax and unwind, this is it. We give it a 10 +++ rating. Looking forward to this upcoming Thanksgiving and renewing old friendships.
It was my first time in Cedar Key and the nature coast area and it was exactly what I needed. This is unlike every other part of Florida I've been to. It's tranquil, full of nature and the weather was balmy, not hot like south Florida. The Faraway Inn provides bikes and kayaks and many people also get golf carts to explore the island (I did).
