Love the staff, very laid back. Right on the water so you can watch the sunset every evening. Room was fantastic! This is our second time here and it will not be our last. You also have use of their kayaks and paddle boards.
We absolutely loved staying here. Our family needed this vacation badly, and we couldnt have had a better time. The cottages were so clean and adorable. Shelly really took care of us. We could see the amazing view of the water from our cottage #2, took out kayaks, rode our bikes to the beach shops, and the pet friendly rooms just made everything perfect. Thank you for being so wonderful Shelly. We will definitely be coming back to visit you.
Absolutely great place to stay. Stayed in cottage # 2 very clean air was on with radio playing . The staff was great Shelly you are a wonderful person. Had a blast. We will definitely be coming back again. I'm already missing turtle. Very friendly and beautiful place to stay.
It is a wonderful place. Shirley, Jamie and Richard are super people. Relaxing and peaceful. This what I call a vacation. Coming back next year. Already made reservations.
What a nice place to be. We arrived late to find a welcome sign with our name on it at the office, our cottage was open lights on and the music on low. The facility is very clean and cozy. I will be telling all my friends and family about Faraway inn.

Oh Cedar Key and Faraway Inn, you kept a large piece of my heart. From the perfect, clean, comfortable cottage #3, to the amazing hosts and staff, Shely and Jamie notably! We felt like family. Made some long-time friends. Hard to describe Faraway Inn, you must experience it! Beautiful...Perfect! Even though we would be classified as tourists, we felt like we belonged in the quiet, old Florida Cedar Key.
