We came into Florida from Kentucky on a last minute get together July 1st. We needed a room to stay so we started calling around in Cedar Key, which was only a short drive from where we were. I had heard a lot about this town, but had never been. We called and talked to Shely she was very helpful and when we arrived at Cottage number 4 the room was beautiful. And Shely was very awesome. We love Oliver and Doreen...they take really good care of us and Max and Elvis! Love also the quaint, clean cottages that are absolutely adorable.
Cute little cottages with a beautiful view of the Gulf. The staff is very friendly and they have bikes and kayaks that are free for guests to use. We love it here and will definitely be back soon!
Stayed at faraway this weekend. It's always a great time. Rooms are nice and clean. Short walk to downtown. We've stayed multiple times and will definitely be back.
Absolutely LOVED staying in #5 cottage Saturday 5/20/17. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Very homey, cozy, pet friendly, and beautiful. The landscaping is amazing, the rooms feel like a home away from home, and the location is perfect. The office lady even went into the room first to turn the a/c on and the radio. These people go above and beyond to ensure each guest feels welcomed and at home. I highly recommend staying there, and I will most definitely be going back!
