We came up from Naples Florida, 2 weeks after Hurricane Irma destroyed our city and county, the 24th is my birthday, with the great room, The Captains Quarters, the water view, the hospitality, and everything we have experienced here so far was phenomenal, had a blast taking an airplane tour of the area for $25 each specially after the 2 weeks we've just had with Irmageddon and the aftermath, we will come back to Cedar Key and will stay at Faraway Inn
They need larger areas. Nice people. Comfortable area. No bitching about your dogs.

Wonderful place to stay. This is our second year in the same Gulf View#12. Its so nice and quite. Loved watching the sunset from the swings each night. Beautiful. .
Enjoyed our stay my daughter her husband their daughter and 🐶 dogs my husband and me and our dog had a great weekend clean family oriented friendly staff lots of amenities 🛶 canoes 🚴 bikes 🎥 movies games rented a golf cart from them quite place could not ask for more enjoyed the swings and the 🌅 sunset and hearing the 🌊 waves I used the grill to cook some steaks can't wait to return for another wonderful weekend highly recommend it
Wonderful retro-style cottage. Super service by Shelley, great attention to detail evident in the rooms. Our family of two parents and two teenagers took advantage of the free bike, canoe and kayak. The best hotel or motel experience our family has ever had.
We came in on a whim after having checked out of another hotel nearby, then deciding to stay another night and on the search for a place to stay. We stopped in and were greeted with smiles and a recommendation to check out Cottage #1. I took one look and was ready to kick back and relax in such a cute, cozy space.... We stayed here with our two English Cockers, Ruby and Harley July 18-21. Been coming to Cedar Key off and on for 17 years and this is first time staying here. Will not be our last. They welcomed us and our dogs. They had travel dog bowls and treats and doggies towels waiting for us. The room was super clean and the owner and staff were so friendly. We miss Shelly!
