Awesome cottages that couldn't be cleaner. Friendly staff, beautiful grounds and adorable rooms. Rent a golf cart right there. Definitely will go back.
I always stay at the Faraway Inn when visiting Cedar Key! Its reasonably priced , always clean and peaceful !!
Local art adorns the cottages and grounds. Extra decorations for Christmas. Right on the water with beautiful sunsets. The towels, bedding, furniture, and kitchen ware are all new. Turtle, a friendly calico kitty, makes you feel at home. The employees are friendly and helpful.
Nothing beats a clean room, Gulf sunset views, and most importantly being welcomed to our room by a collapsible dog bowl, dog treats, and doggie waste bags. Shely is super friendly and welcoming.
Had a great stay at Faraway Inn ! Great rooms , great staff and best of all , very dog friendly ! Shelly and the other ladies ( who's names I unfortunately don't remember ) are all fantastic to deal with . Hope to get back there again soon . My Golden Retrievers loved it too !
Great place to stay! Peaceful and relaxing. The cottage was awesome! Met some very nice people. We will be back.
