I contacted Fallon Solutions as I had a tear in the door seal (boot gasket) of my front loader washing machine and wanted it replaced. When the repairer arrived he told me that he didn't have the part and would need to order it. I was charged $155 for the call out and have been quoted $363.59 to come back and install it. This is a total of $518.59 to replace a part that costs approximately $80 online. I totally understand the need to pay for the labour costs involved in the process but think $438.59 for labour is exorbitant.... read more

To offer an explanation for the costs; at Fallon Solutions, our appliance team have a minimum diagnostic fee which is charged to all customers to identify the fault and any parts required to get your machine back in working order. Fallon Solutions were called to attend to a problem at my daughter's house recently. I was there at the time. They asked her to decide if she thought the problem might be with the mixer tap on her kitchen sink, or the hot water service valve attached to her hot water tank. My daughter is not a plumber. Fallon quoted two different amounts to fix each possibility. The plumber and my daughter decided the mixer tap was most likely and a new mixer tap was installed. This did not fix the problem. We were called out to resolve an intermittent issue with the kitchen sink mixer tap. This was our 5th job done by Fallon Soluytions and as all previous jobs has been done to an excellent standard. A description of all work and the cost was provided by Richard Ewen and he then proceeded to do a very thorough job of cleaning all 4 air conditioners to an extremely high standard. I was very satisfied with the service afforded me by Avneel. I am an elderly lady and be treated me with respect. He also managed to sell me an air conditioner within about 15 minutes. You can't afford to lose him. M. M

I needed some faulty wall switches replaced. Dion came as arranged and checked them out and replaced as necessary in a competent and pleasant manner. As this was my first time with Fallon he also did a check of the system and had suggestions about things which will probably need attention at some point. He offered and completed quotes for these but there was no pressure to accept them or to sign up for their home protection plan. They may not be the cheapest but service is good.
