Charged my 78 year old mother £118 to fix a smoke alarm to the wall.
Wouldn't bother with them, had a plumber come round from these guys in the hopes of fixing a leak, was not overly helpful and said he he would be in touch, never got in touch, called in said that they would give me a call and never did. Had a plumber come round today who actually looked for the problem and fixed it there and then, totally crazy to me. worst part I believe the guy who came around for the problem is the owner. First class service, we've had a complete bathroom renovation. Thanks to the whole team, But in particular to Jason, who worked incredibly hard and listened to, and answered any queries we had. Will not hesitate to use them in the future.
As a loyal returning customer I am appalled at the service and experience of using Goddards this time around. They demanded full payment while work was still on going, incomplete, substandard and faulty. They left an ineffective bathroom in our family home, with young children, and walked away. They left a radiator without a temperature control which now gets dangerously hot and presents a hazard to our young children. Appalling and morally unacceptable.
I have used F Goddards and sons for over 30 years. Never had an issue. Engineers sent were polite and professional. Teething issues after installing my kitchen, bathroom and boiler were rectified immediately. Well recommend local plumbing company.
