RecommendedMy husband and I have been seen by Dr. Nickels at Heaton Eye Associates for several years. Cataract surgery for the spouse and Eye muscle surgery for me with no complications. Honesty and efficiency of the staff has been consistent. We have been encouraged to discuss our concerns. We plan to continue using Heaton Eye Associates.
Dr. Hunter and the staff there were very patient with my toddler during the exams and did a great job making us as comfortable as possible. Dr. Hunter was very kid friendly and worked quickly but also took time to make sure we understood everything that he was testing for and explained the results thoroughly. I would highly recommend.

I was the first March Madness winner, I am completely blessed to have had the opportunity to receive Lasik completely free!I cannot thank the staff enough, Noah, and Dr. Nickel. I went from not being to see without my glasses to better than 20/20 vision. Dr. Nickel prayed with us before the procedure it really showed how much he cares for his patients. I would definitely recommend to everyone to go have Lasik at Heaton Eye associates! Thank you again for this life changing opportunity!♥️♥️

The staff and Dr. Hunter are amazing! My daughter was suppose to see another because Dr. Hunter was booked at the time and we just took whatever dr could see her when we got to the office they worked it out to where she could see Dr. Hunter 😄❤
