My car has been paid off for over 100 days and I still haven't received the title for my car. They're claiming they electronically released my title so it's out of their hands and my responsibility to chase down my title. I shouldn't be inconvenienced and forced to visit the DMV to try'n obtain my title.

This is the absolute worst finance place to go through when getting a car. You end up getting so upside down on It. I got a car loan for a 14,000 dollar car and ended up paying for 3 years 392.94 and still owed 15,000. I made a payment arrangement for them to take a payment out on sept of this year. Told her my situation about moving back home and that I just started a new job and wasn't sure how they got paid yet and would set up another payment as soon as I got paid. Bad customer service. Veronica****** account manager is very rude and disrespectful. We just got the loan and if I could give it back I would. This place sucks. Dont finance with them. They should be closed down.

Exeter finance is predatory!! If negative stars were an option, I would have picked it. I've paid on time for almost 6 years now except for a few times I deferred due to circumstances out of my control. I didn't even realize deferral was an option until it was offered to me by an agent and the way it was explained was that it would just extend the time of my loan. Long story short, as of late, I've had issues with my job and called and explained I'm paying whenever I can but apparently if you don't pay the entire months bill... read more

If no stars that is what they would get.. after almost 4 years with them it has been nothing but trouble. They kept calling my place of employment after being told and was confirmed on a recorded phone call in June of 2019 they continued to call, needless to say I lost job because of this and they say it was a "glitch". Too bad I have all the proof. Then call them on Oct 1st for payment arrangements and needless to say they tell me that arrangement had been made by a guy named Colin who I have never heard of. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! You will end up paying DOUBLE what your loan was. They don't care about their customers, they only want to squeeze as much money out of you as they can!! I have made 54 payments at $285 a month for an $11,800 car and I still owe almost $5,000???

I got shoved into Exeter Financial by the dealership where I purchased my vehicle. They told me every lie in the book to get me to accept Exeter, so now I'm stuck with these tapeworms. The only communication I have ever had with them aside from receiving bills is when I call them. the first time I called was on a Saturday. I sat on hold for 30 minutes before someone picked up the phone, then immediately hung up on me. The second time I called was on a weekday. I absolutely would not recommend this company. I needed some documents updated from a name changer I did in March 2019. I was given almost a month run around and was given so much incorrect information I did not know what to do. Can the supervisors have no clue what they are talking about. If you are looking to finance through this company save yourself the time and effort. It takes days for them to get information to you and no one is on the same page. ABSOLUTELY will never be using this company again.
