This is a great project which not only brings jobs to the Delmar Loop, it also provides a safe housing option. While it is more expensive than some of the run down houses in the area, it provides a fully furnished apartment with all the utilities included. There are also countless amenities that I find to be extremely convenient and am thrilled my daughter will be living in such a nice property in an area that is undergoing a transition.
Who the heck can afford this is St Louis? Don't tell me, because I know the answer- rich white folks. Way to further gentrify the neighborhood. Absolutely shameful.
"Boutique" student living? What is this? Oh right it's an incentive for more rich people who mostly aren't from STL to isolate themselves with their wealth from our city's crumbling housing, infant mortality rates on par with third world countries, and folks who have no access to groceries - just blocks away. Keep widening that Delmar Divide, folks! It's totally sustainable!
The Everly's idea of a "loop transition" is gentrifying, racist, and a good example of capitalist trash. Bye.
