What's worse than demolishing a bunch of sturdy brick buildings with plentiful charm and character to put up a mesh-and-foam monstrosity for the clueless children of the wealthy? Doing so with copious taxpayer money, siphoning funds from schools, infrastructure and parks. Also "hipsters" don't live on the loop and "gated community" is code for "terrified whitefolk that can't function in polite society"
Not just ugly and awful but an abuse of tax dollars.
