ROBBERY ! At first I thought everything is good. Yesterday I returned the car and today I got the invoice. It should be 559 pounds but the invoice says 722 pounds, more than 150 !!! And now I understand that at the kiosks, europcar officer -the old man with white and shoulder length hair- robbed me during renting. He said he should take 822 pounds. Proceso de check-in muy bien organizado, con mucho personal atendiendo. Atención en mostrador de Afrouz muy eficiente y profesional. Recogida y entrega coche muy rápida Sólo nos faltaron algunas reconvertir l explicaciones sobre el funcionamiento del coche.
Getting the car took over an hour as there were 30 people in front of us. There was a queue with a ticket system. This is kinda unbelievable considering the fact we (and probably everyone else) pre-booked and pre-paid the car. The service worker Said/Saif was very friendly though. No pressure on us to book additional insurance etc. Returning the car however was absolutely great. Took us 2 minutes. Super quick, super friendly.
I can only confirm the negative reviews: I will never rent from Europcar again! An employee (Francois) tried to sell me a more expensive car. When I declined, he presented me with the alleged rental agreement, which I quickly had to sign (without further explanation). Unfortunately, I then discovered that it included additional insurance, which I had neither requested nor was explained to me.
