We have been a customer of Ethicleen for some time now. They provide a well equipped, reliable service with minimum of fuss, and are polite, helpful and give good, honest advice. Overall I cannot fault them or the reasonably priced service they provide.
Do not use, scam artists! Agreed for them to come and do some guttering over the phone but was given no confirmation, invoice or notification of any call out charge prior to them doing the job. Claimed to have sent me a text the night before but nothing. Turned up at my door and then billed me a £60 call-out charge and threatened to take action if I did not pay it. Very poor service. Surveyed windows. Been coming since last July, cleaned windows on 4 occasions, no issues. Since Jan23, various excuses, got missed out on round, van written off, had 4 messages to say they’d be with me the next day, wait in, don’t turn up. After 4 months of not turning up, apparently they won’t be coming back due to having to go up ladders to skylight! No problem with this when they took on the job. Complete waste of time. Not professional at all. Look elsewhere!
Easy to arrange a day and time for one-off gutter cleaning. Very pleased with the result, and definitely planning to book Ethicleen for annual gutter clearance.
