Ethel's were great. Hired a box van for the day but had an awkward situation to present to them on returning it, they were very reasonable & dealt with the situation in a kind and professional manner. The van incurred a long mark at car wing mirror height whilst parked overnight, it didn't look good but they very kindly checked to see if it would clean off, which it did. Can't ask for better service or nicer people to deal with. Hugely grateful for this!

Me and my friends,hired the transit eight seater mini bus, for our holiday over the Easter bank holidays, vehicle reasonably priced,clean and ready. We would definitely use Ethel's again. Thankyou.

I hired a Fiat 500 cost £257 for the week, very small car with little power but did the trick except for the days with snow I didn’t feel safe enough to go out with it. Ethel’s staff were friendly & helpful. My booking was a last minute request. Thank you for finding me a car!

I called and booked a van to rent for a 1 day hire, the prices are affordable and I always try to go with local businesses where possible. The lady on the phone (Louise) was very professional and explained their process and the £200 holding fee to me. On the day of pickup I also met with Louise who again was incredibly friendly and professional- unfortunately I have a DR40 on my license from over 7 years ago which meant they were unable to insure me on the vehicle - this was not mentioned anywhere on the website or mentioned... read more
