Have had two issues with online ordering from Ethel M. About a year ago, I placed an order. It was shipped to the wrong (my old) address. I called and got a refund. I ordered again on November 14, 2017 for a December 6 arrival date. They created the box and shipped it, to the WRONG (OLD ADDRESS) again. I called them prior to delivery and "Linda" was not rude but close to it. She did not want to hear that I had a confirmation e-mail with the correct, new, address on it. Just got the Hot Chocolate mix in the mail today. Delicious!
Been going here for basically 30 years. There last week, bought well over 200$ worth of candy. 2nd piece we ate when we got home had a hair embedded in it. Have called, emailed and asked on this page to speak to somebody. Have not been contacted in over a week. I was not going to go public with it, just wanted to speak to somebody. They don’t seem interested, so I am posting.
Well worth visiting all year but especially around the Christmas season.
Amazing beautiful light display. A must see every season! Pick up a delicious cup of hot chocolate for an extra treat and walk around with it, enjoying the sights and sounds. Great photo opportunities of course too. Free admission so be grateful and respectful 😉
I used to love going to Ethel M’s but, every since they remodeled it just isn’t the same. I just toured the cactus garden all decorated with holiday lights - that was beautiful but, you once could buy 3D glasses to view the lights and experience a whole different perspective...they stopped selling the glasses. That was very disappointing. New this year was an ice skating rink. That was a cool idea however, if you aren’t skating there is no way to view the rink. I miss the old Ethel M Chocolate Factory.

We were too early for the lights and too late to enjoy the Chocolate experience. It was a beautiful gift shop and we definitely purchased chocolates for a gift and sea salted chocolate caramel. Later into our evening we enjoyed both white and dark chocolate cupcakes. Blissfully Devine !
