I had a massive rotator cuff injury 4.5 months ago. After a ton of research I was thankfully referred to Dr. Black. The surgery was smooth and facility immaculate and well run. His bedside manner is excellent and the overall experience is nothing short of spectacular. He is well connected to many PTs and kept in touch with progress with them over the past 4 months since surgery. I just left my final follow up visit ahead of schedule. His reputation is the best shoulder specialist in NJ.

I had serious elbow surgery done by doctor black. I am so lucky I found this guy ! Look no further for any type of orthopedic issue. He listens to u and comes up with the best solution for u! It’s so hard to find a doctor like that. Even though he’s very busy I always feel like he’s happy to see me , he remembers me, and he wants me to get better ! He’s restored my faith in doctors after some bad experiences. Go to this guy!

Thoroughly explained the issue and answered all questions. Provided options with pros/cons. Extremely pleasant. Hard to say any doctor appointment is delightful, but this was as close as it gets!
Dr. Black fixed my bicep tear and my rotator cuff tear. I was in pain for a solid year till I went to Dr. Black and he fixed both. Since, I have had literally had zero pain! I have full range of motion and more importantly, I have my life back! Thank you Dr. Black!! I would and have recommended him again and again!

Great experience during a bad time... Dr. Black spent time explaining the surgery and recovery process. He even called the evening before surgery to see if I had any questions. He also answered several via email. A complicated surgery was successful. He came highly recommended and now I know why.
Dr. Black was highly recommended because he is not only brilliant in his area of expertise but professional, personable and approachable. Dr. Black also has an engaging and happy personality and was responsive to all of my questions prior to surgery and during my recovery process. I couldn’t be happier with the results after Dr. Black repaired the massive tear to my rotator cuff. I have now returned to my active lifestyle of playing golf, practicing yoga and much more.
