Shoulder Replacement. I was referred to Dr. Black by my physical therapist, who had recommended him as I sought a second opinion on my ailing shoulder. Dr. Black is awesome. He surgically repaired my complete rotator cuff tear, with an associated bicep repair. I give him the highest grades in all areas - - surgical proficiency, doctor-patient relationship, post-surgical follow-up, etc. He truly cares about his patients and his work.
Dr E Black is a highly skilled surgeon. He did a total reverse shoulder replacement on me in February. I feel great, I'm doing physical therapy 3x a week. I'm pain free. I highly recommend him. He will listen to you and address all your concerns.
A pec rupture is not an injury you want to mess around with. I couldn’t have been in better hands with Dr. Black. Considering the potential seriousness of the injury, Dr. Black fit me into his schedule. After a thorough evaluation and diagnosis, he walked me through my options, both surgical and non. Dr. Black is Fantastic! I rate him and his office 5 Stars. He explains everything you ask or need to know in as much technical detail as you request. As an Engineer, I really appreciated reading his Post-Op Surgical Procedure notes of everything done during my Reverse Total shoulder replacement.

Absolutely! Dr. Black is the guru of shoulder surgeries! I had shoulder replacement on Feb.8th and two months later I’m feeling fantastic! I’m going to Physical Therapy 3x a week . Dr. Black is the best. My shoulder replacement was painless!
Graduation Day after 4 months from total shoulder replacement. Dr. Black and team were great. At 50 years young, I had 50-75% use of my shoulder from athletic injuries and age. I have >90% use today with room to improve. Trust their guidance, do your rehab...it works!
I had shoulder replacement surgery, done by Dr. Black - I had nerve issues right after my surgery which is getting worse every day even though I am going to intense therapy 3x/wk. After a nerve study was done it showed nerve damage. I am now over 5mos post surgery, my hand has still numbness and I am in real pain which keeps me from sleeping. So, do your homework before you commit to this office.
