I today dropped of a urine specimen per Drs orders to the Out Patient Lab on Second floor. The waiting room was standing room only and only one employee in the area. Not thinking I needed to sign in and wait I placed it on a desk in the business office. I called and informed an employee of my actions and was informed I needed to sign a consent form before they could process it. BEWARE of charges for routine services like x-rays. Bon Secours provides these services in our primary care doctor's office and the charges are OUTRAGEOUS. Over $700 (not including radiologist charge!!) for a chest x-ray This is s service that generally costs $50 or less in doctor's offices in RVA, or sightly more in a hospital setting. We have not had any bad experiences with the people at Bon Secours facilities - but this is nothing short of DECEPTIVE AND PREDATORY!

I have been a patient at Reedy Family for years. Dr. Dorna was a great doctor and really cared about my health. Unfortunately he has left the practice and his replacement, nurse practitioner Jessica, leaves much to be desired. Jessica knows how to do two things only, make money for Reedy Family and infurate patients. I have spent more money in 3 months for pointless lab test and cultures because Jessica doesn’t know how to do her job. It’s sad that this practice has gone down hill like has.
