RecommendedI’ve been Dr. Sikes’ patient for 15 years. He has delivered my children, and has just overall been a spectacular doctor. He’s extremely knowledgeable. He’s truly a doctor who I know cares. I feel safe knowing that he is in charge of my care. The staff is great and everyone is always polite. I highly recommend Carolina Women’s Health, and from personal experience, I very much recommend Dr. Sikes!

Do not go to the interal medicine office in Ashland Va. The doctor told my husband this morning that she was busy and didn't have time for him. When we first had a visit at the office I asked if she would be able to see my husband every 30 days because he has numerous issues. Now she says that she doesn't have any magic pills in her pocket. All we wanted was a good primary care doctor not one that is too busy for us. Needless to say I was shocked at the way that she behaved.

I today dropped of a urine specimen per Drs orders to the Out Patient Lab on Second floor. The waiting room was standing room only and only one employee in the area. Not thinking I needed to sign in and wait I placed it on a desk in the business office. I called and informed an employee of my actions and was informed I needed to sign a consent form before they could process it. My question is why do they think I would follow all the directions and provide the Drs order if I didn’t consent. I refused to drive 15 miles to sign... read more
BEWARE of charges for routine services like x-rays. Bon Secours provides these services in our primary care doctor's office and the charges are OUTRAGEOUS. Over $700 (not including radiologist charge!!) for a chest x-ray This is s service that generally costs $50 or less in doctor's offices in RVA, or sightly more in a hospital setting. We have not had any bad experiences with the people at Bon Secours facilities - but this is nothing short of DECEPTIVE AND PREDATORY!
