I would leave 0 starts if that was an option. When I rented my apartment at the Girard building in Boston it was under reasonable management. 2 months into my residence the management company changed to Equity Residential and the services became abysmal. Mail was no longer being delivered, packages would be lost regularly and the staff were unhelpful. Fast forward to the end of my lease and trying to leave. Horrible customer service, after a 1 year lease they said there was an outstanding balance but were not quite clear about what it was for. I asked for a breakdown of the balance and had no problem paying for it it was about($300) but once o got it, she could not tell me how to pay for it she just said go online. Just a few days after i received a call from a collection company. I lived at the ********* place apartments for 3 months. I give a 4 star rating. The manager and leasing agent and I were able to resolve my issues. My A/C went out in the middle of a heat wave but we were able to come to a fair resolution. It took a little longer than expected but the outcome was positive.
