Promised an elderly man 6¢ per Kwh but, charged 12¢ This company KNEW I'd focus on the 6 and stop hearing the rest of the presentation. SHAME on entrust

moved out of state due to my mother-in-law passing away and leaving the house to my husband. I was told once I provided change of address, the $300 early termination fee would be waived. I provided the info via email. A rep called, took my final payment, told me the fee was waived, said I had a ZERO balance and the account is closed. She even expressed condolences on my loss. Now I get a call from another rep saying the they cant process the change of address information with the official confirmation number provided by the ... read more

Started out great, our bill was less than half of what it had been, now it's higher than ever, went from average of 140.00 to over 300.00 in two months, for two weeks out of this last bill we didn't even use the ac due to temps being in the low 80's? How that possible? We're being ripped off and have a set income

This people are crooks. My bill has been going nothing but up since I found out that some crook salesperson convinced my wife to sign a 3 year contract. I tried calling to see how billing is broken down but they refused to give me any information due to the account being on my wife's name. We are not from Texas and did not know that you pretty much end up paying twice for electricity, the billing company and ***. I was headed to the bus stop when I was approached by a man about switching my energy bill. I was stupid to talk to him. If they say they are with Entrust, just stop them there and tell them to move on. He began by asking if my bill was outrageous, which it's never been more than 200 at the peak of the hot season in Texas with ********, but I figured saving a little more money is worth it. Entrust Energy sales reps are pushy and don't seem to tell you about the fine print concerning the company. I was told I did not have to pay a early termination fee, that most people don't anyway. Said I had 7 days to decide whether to change providers. I called Entrust before the reps probably left the parking lot. I ask them to void everything and NOT to call ***, that I WAS NOT changing providers. I ask for confirmation number but was not given one, said it was not necessary ! I have been a customer of Entrust for many years and have been happy with them until recently. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and recently moved to a new 1 bedroom apartment in the SAME apartment complex. I moved services over to the new place and was SHOCKED that my bill increased almost 3 times the amount that I paid the previous year in the same apartment complex for a 1 bedroom apartment. A rep came to my home and gave me very little info about the company then he had a rep call me and enroll me in their services but when I asked if I was being enrolled he told me no. And they are sending me a bill when I had cancelled the next day.
