SCAMMERS. Liars. 55 and over community yet 3 employees under 55 have moved in. Our ** has made 3 felonys against the community here. Im not sure the employees are aware of Senior Rights. This team needs to be stopped and STOP HURTING THE ELDERLY. I heard today one of my neighbors is seeking a counselor just because of the ** here and her hate for people! RUN FAST FROM THIS COMPANY THEY DO THE DEVILS WORK
I live at Arya Apartments in ******** ******. It's managed by Greystar. A pipe broke in the wall of the top floor apartment and flooded several units including mine. I didn't have renter's insurance--I'm a person with a disability and low income, so it isn't required. I asked to be reimbursed for the $1000.00+ cost to me, including a doubled electrical bill during the dry out with industrial fans. I was told it would be included with the insurance claim the company put in. It took them two months to finish repairing my apart... read more
Inconsiderate and rude to elderly tenants. Sorry we ever signed a lease with this most uncaring and meanspirited company.
This review is for Sapphire Bay in Baytown TX. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE experience and it just gets worse. Bunch of clowns are in charge of this property and they have no clue what they are doing. • Let’s just start with the most recent BS of all time, they’re sending residents bills for an “issue” in their system from last year. Yeah your heard it right LAST YEAR - 12 MONTHS - 365 DAYS AGO and the amount is around $65. That just show how money hungry this company is. They don’t even forgive their own mistake and make sure their ... read more
I lived in two Greystar properties and won't ever work with them again. No support, rude staff, grounds aren't well cared for, parking is always a nightmare.
This is for The Burke Apts in Charleston. Friendly until time of move out. I broke my lease knowing I was responsible for fees. I called before giving written notice to get clarification on a few things. The individual I spoke with sounded irritated but everyone has bad days so I brushed it off. During that conversation, I was told the fee would be due 30 days after giving written notice. I gave notice but the fee was added to my rent invoice which was due before the lease fee. I called and was told only the rent was due… wh... read more
I/we have been leasing an apartment from Greystar in ************ for more than four years. At one time this would have been classified as a luxury facility. There are some remaining resemblances but infrastructure maintenance has been lacking for sometime. Local management started out at least communicative and cordial. Half way through 2022 the then manager who was clearly overwhelmed with her job, but friendly, was transferred to a smaller facility. The new manager has taken the position that residents exist for her benef... read more
I moved out November 2022 and, despite multiple phone calls, texts, and voice mails to which no one has responded, I still haven't received my deposit/security refund.
The company is a rip-off machine and it is too bad I can't give them less than one star. Besides forcing tenants to sign an agreement to pay two months rent in case of breaking a contract, they also charge an "Unsufficient Notice Fee" if you inform them about that in less than 60 days. I lived in the apartment owned by Greystar for five months and after I lost my contract and had to move out I was charged almost three months' worth of rent. A semi-decent hotel room would cost me the same amount or less. In addition to the co... read more
Business response:
******************** is correct that the Lease Agreement clearly outlines specific terms around when you must give notice to vacate and what the penalties are for not giving appropriate notice or terminating the contract early. ******************** gave notice on 3/29 and moved out 3/30. The lease requires 60 days notice, and this resulted in the Insufficient Notice Fee. Furthermore, ************************ lease agreement expired on January 4, ****, and he vacated with 9 months remaining on the agreement and therefore was ... read more
